Rocky View County is updating the Conrich Area Structure Plan (ASP) through a review of the Greater Conrich Area (land outside of the Hamlet). Initially adopted in 2015, the current ASP covers 68 quarter sections of land in the southeast quadrant of the County, adjacent to Chestermere and Calgary.

Following the recent expansion of the Hamlet boundary approved on July 15, 2025, this update focuses on the Greater Conrich Area and its land use strategy. Phase 1 Engagement initiatives are scheduled for September and October to gather stakeholder input for the ASP amendment.

Community feedback is essential to this review process. We need your input to ensure the plan aligns with the needs and aspirations of the residents. Your participation will help shape the future of the Greater Conrich area, making it a place that truly represents the community's desires.

Rocky View County will be conducting both online and in-person engagement opportunities to gather your feedback. Here are some ways you can get involved:

• Mailout Question: Area residents were sent information about the upcoming engagement and asked, "What do you want the County to know or understand about your home or business as it works to update the Greater Area Structure Plan?" Share your thoughts in the survey above.
• Open House: Join us at the Prince of Peace Banquet Hall on October 6, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm to learn more and share your thoughts.
• Online Survey: Participate in the survey from October to November 2025 on this page.
• Validation: Once the draft ASP is written, the project team will have a second phase of engagement to take the plan back to the public for review.
