Online Engagement:

From May 2025June 2025, the County accepted feedback through an online survey covering:

  • Key changes from the current MDP (the County Plan) and the draft MDP;
  • Validating the approaches in sections that received the most interest in earlier stages of engagement;
  • Measuring the level of support for the approaches to Managing Growth, Agriculture, Environment, Natural Resources and Energy Development, and Institutional and Community Uses; and
  • Obtaining feedback on the draft MDP overall.

Throughout Phase 2 of the project, the County has sought input and feedback from a wide range of interested parties, including Rocky View County residents, the development community, the County’s intermunicipal partners, and other agencies and organizations that operate within the County.

The project successfully completed Stage 3 Engagement in June 2025. Your participation and feedback on the project are highly valued, and your insights have helped to shape the draft MDP document.

Following this, County Administration will finalize the MDP before submission to Rocky View County Council for approval and plan adoption.
